Strategic Leadership
Annie Scrimenti, MS
Annie brings 15 years of health policy experience, with nearly a decade in congressional relations and 6 years focused exclusively on diagnostics policy. She has worked extensively on Medicare coding, coverage, and reimbursement—and has used that expertise to shape policy at the highest levels.
As former Director of Public Policy & Advocacy for the Association for Molecular Pathology, Annie worked directly with the AMA and CMS helping to shape the policy environment that has enabled broader patient access to laboratory-developed testing. She has a nuanced command of LDT regulations, precision medicine legislation, and the MolDx technical assessment framework.
That combination—legislative strategy and technical coding fluency—helps oncology startups and diagnostic labs cut through regulatory ambiguity, establish defensible coding pathways, and stay ahead of shifting payer coverage.
Annie obtained her M.S. from Georgetown University in Biomedical Science Policy & Advocacy, with a focus in global infectious diseases. Annie also holds a B.A. from Gannon University in Liberal Arts/Pre-Medical studies with concentrations in Spanish, Political Science and Chemistry.
Santo Scrimenti, JD
Santo is a strategic legal executive with deep expertise in employment litigation, global compliance, data privacy, contract negotiation, brand protection, investigations, labor relations, and regulatory law.
Known for stepping into complex, sensitive, or high‐stakes situations and bringing clarity, stability, and forward momentum, Santo is a trusted advisor to the C‐suite and senior leadership, with a track record of scaling legal frameworks during periods of rapid organizational growth.
Throughout his career, Santo has earned increasing responsibility by building trust quickly and deliveringjudgment leaders rely on.
Santo holds a J.D. from American University Washington College of Law, where he graduated cum laude after completing the program at night while working full‐time — which, if nothing else, is a testament to resilience. He also holds a B.A. in Philosophy from The Catholic University of America, is licensed to practice in Virginia, and is CIPP‐US certified.
